1. Acceptance of Terms
By using typee ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
typee is a web-based language learning application. We provide tools for creating vocabulary decks from songs, subtitles, and text, as well as practice modes including typing, Fill-in-the-blank, and Word Game. Anki deck imports are also supported.
3. User Accounts
You may use some features without an account. To save decks and track progress, you need to create an account via Google OAuth or email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload (flashcard decks, data). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes: uploading harmful or illegal content, attempting to disrupt the Service, reverse engineering, or using automated tools to scrape data.
6. Payments & Subscriptions
The Pro plan is billed through Stripe. You can cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
typee is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any data loss, interruption, or damages arising from the use of the Service. Use the Service at your own risk.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via the website.
